Cykeltur 3: Västra sträckan Aspveden

Difficulty: Some parts hilly, long stretches are car-free.

Starting south from Söderköping, you soon pass Liljerum village and Björsäters farm where an open-air museum appears on the right side shortly afterwards. The tour continues through wildlife-rich land with plenty of berries and mushrooms, where the road is car-free for long stretches. At Fyrby there is an old farm with prehistoric graves on the left. Towards the end of the tour, Lake Venasjön offers both good swimming and fishing opportunities. The tour continues through beautiful scenery and past Överstakvarn, which is a restored old watermill.
