Description
The stage starts in Åsvik, at Östra Ed's homestead next to the church. The homestead is located in the old church stable built around 1880. There is parking and information here. At Härvik the trail splits, head east towards Torrö. After about half the distance you pass the resting hut at Kråkvik, where you can fill up on drinking water in the summer.
The stage offers hiking in very sparsely populated and unique archipelago nature. At Åsvikelandet and Torrö, large nature reserves together form one of the largest contiguous nature reserves on the Baltic coast. The trail runs through a beautiful agricultural landscape in both the inner and outer archipelago with rich bird life.
About half of the stage consists of gravel road and the rest is path. The trail is flat to moderately hilly. At Åsvikelandet, several hiking trails connect, where a bridge takes you even further out to sea - to Torrö nature reserve.
The trail passes several pastures where grazing animals may be present.
