Description
Alnholm is the northernmost headland on Alnö, which, however, has grown together with the island of Aspöja through land uplift. Alnholm is a valuable natural environment worthy of protection, with geological values such as well-formed folding patterns in the visible bedrock. The northern part of the headland consists of bare rock cliffs, and in the southern part there is a lush grove of oak and oxel trees. In sheltered and open areas, there are heathy plant species such as bloodwort, sundew and Adam and Eve. Bird life in the area is rich. You can reach the reserve by boat or kayak.
