Canoe resting area, Flåboda

In Flåboda there is a resting area with the possibility to throw rubbish and go to the toilet. From the water, you have to walk up a small slope to get to the toilet up by the road. There is also a fireplace here.

Flåboda hill, which today is a nice meadow with oaks and junipers, was formerly used, among other things, as a storage place for timber and pulp wood that was floated to the saw and pulp factory in Konga. Flotation ceased in the 40s. In the spring, sedges bloom profusely here on the slope down towards Lake Bastsjön.
