Burial and settlement area

People have lived along the eastern edge of Lake Viren south of Sandvik for a long time. Just south of the cottage, there are settlement remains from at least five different remains just a short distance from the present-day settlement and the lake on the other side of the road. Directly to the west, there are several ancient fields on the northern headland between Guleboda and Korrö, and in the northwest direction the Näsen nature reserve looms behind Jungfruön. Just a name that appeals to the imagination.
