Skälby aktivitetspark

Skälby Gård has an activity park located on a large open grassy area. For children who prefer to play in a quieter and more secluded environment, there is a smaller playground directly adjacent to the activity park called "Sagolandet".

Adjacent to the park are large fruit trees that offer shade on sunny days. There are also benches and barbecue areas in the area. Near the activity park there is an outdoor gym, jogging tracks, a 4H farm and a farm café.

**Playground equipment

The playground equipment varies in difficulty to suit both small and large children and invites both physical activity and stimulation of the senses. Here you will find, among other things:

• Climbing pyramid
• Swings, swing boards and spring swings. The swings have several different types of seats to suit children of different ages and children with physical disabilities.
• Water play (only that park has it)
• Play panels of different heights
• Submerged trampoline
• Playhouses
• Speech tubes

Substrates

Several of the play equipment are placed on fall protection plates to increase safety. The plates also create a smooth surface, which benefits accessibility. Around some play equipment there is sand. From the eastern parking lot there is a wide walkway of asphalt and stone dust that leads to the activity park.
