Kornlyckans lekpark

Kornlyckan's playground is located on the edge of a residential area in southern Ljungbyholm. The large area has a barbecue area with benches and tables for those who want to bring something to eat and socialize. Adjacent to the playground is a larger grass pitch for football or other spontaneous play. There are also several berry bushes in the playground. A hill in the area invites you to go sledging in the winter, cycling in the summer, or simply just a nice viewpoint! The playground has lighting.

Playground equipment

The playground offers activities for children of all ages and physical abilities. Some examples of play equipment:

• Long rope swing
• Carousel with space for a wheelchair
• Playhouse adapted for wheelchairs
• Two climbing frames for younger and older children
• Carousel swing for small children
• Sandpit
• Spring swings
• Spinning sculpture

There are several different surfaces in the playground. The carousel is on a cork mat. This increases safety and also makes it easier to get around on the smooth surface. Most of the other playground equipment is on sand. The walkway between the different playground equipment has a surface layer of stone dust.
