Description
Between Söderåkra and Påryd there are huge boulders with deep caves and long passages collected since the Ice Age. The site was declared a natural monument in 1948.
The caves have been a hideout and treasure trove for pathfinders and forest thieves, including the infamous Kanabergstjuvarna. Nils Dacke is also said to have lived here.
An exciting excursion destination for families with children where it is free to climb, crawl and discover! Don't forget a torch and loose clothing.
There is also a small barbecue area.
