Flatsjön

This area was the border between Sweden and Denmark until 1568. The coniferous forest area here is called "Ulvamon" (wolf is the same as wolf). From the end of the 18th century, Ulvamon was a settlement for the uninhabited. At most, around 200 people lived here in about 30 places. There were both crofts, cottages and earth balls. All the places are signposted. House foundations, cairns and low stone walls are reminders of that time. Everything is described in the book "Ulvamon - a borderland in time and space 2016.
