Description

Here in the village of Röttle, the JB3 and JB4 trails converge. Röttle is a picturesque little village dating back to the 1700s. There’s a large parking lot, restrooms, and a lovely swimming spot on Lake Vättern. If you follow the JB3 toward Bunn, you’ll also be following the Västanåleden trail, where you can take a detour and then rejoin the JB3. If you choose to hike toward Gränna, we recommend visiting the town before climbing the stairs up Grännaberget, which offers a fantastic view of Lake Vättern, Visingsö, and all the way to Omberg in the north and Västergötland straight to the west.
