Description
West of Åsenhöga church is the parish's old churchyard. When today's neoclassical church was built in 1857, the old wooden church was demolished and the churchyard was abandoned.
During the 20th century, the cemetery has been carefully restored. The atmospheric site gives an authentic picture of what rural Småland cemeteries looked like before industrialism.
