Description
In Bragéebacken you will find a forest with mostly pine trees. The pines growing here are 100-180 years old. The oldest have survived a forest fire. You can see this in the damage that the pines have far down on the bark of the trunk. You can also see old black stumps that have been through previous fires. Some stumps have clear burn marks from several fires. In the eastern part of the reserve you can see a number of different plants that thrive in soil that contains a lot of lime. Among other things, you can see the large bright yellow orchid guckusko, the early-flowering tibasten and blue daisy, as well as the woolly magic grape.
