Local heritage site of Åre

Åre Sockens Hembygdsförening was formed in the 1940s. In September 1966, the plot in Ullån was purchased on which the log houses and the homestead were built. The farm illustrates and tells how a farm in Åre Parish could look in the 19th century and consists of the Mangårdsbyggnaden, two hearths, barn with baking oven, parish warehouse, lodge, school house and a smithy.

Kafé Gården is also run here, which is a farm bakery and café with a special focus on organic, climate-smart and sustainable alternatives.
