Vindskydd, Byasjön

Here is a shelter that can accommodate 4-5 adults. It is beautifully situated in Långanskogens Nature Reserve on the shore of Byasjön with a view of the lake. There is a fireplace, toilet and wood storage.

The lake offers fishing opportunities, for this a fishing license is required.

The windbreak was built in 2020 by Varberg Municipality in the outdoor project Outwest with funding from Lokalt Ledd Utveckling Halland and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

**Please note

• it is not suitable to park your car near this rest area. If you have a car and plan to go to the rest area, you are responsible for finding a parking space where the car is not in the way or inappropriately parked. Expect to have to walk a few kilometers. The nearest public parking lot is at the Skogsbo or Skärbäck nature reserves.
• that the rest area is primarily intended for hikers along the Hallandsleden trail, in case of lack of space, priority is therefore given to these in the shelter and at the fireplace.
