Suseån naturreservat
- Nature reserve
- County: Hallands län
Actions
Description
Suseån covers a stretch along the Suseån valley. The river has worked its way down into the sediments of the coastal plain and formed beautiful meandering shapes. It is an experience to glide through the reserve on a canoe in Suseån. However, the reserve is not suitable for visiting on foot due to the large grazing animals that roam there.
Suseån is considered to be of great geological, archaeological and landscape value. The area covers a distance of 2.5 kilometers and the land along the river is kept open with grazing. The nature reserve has a parking lot and an information board but is otherwise not adapted for outdoor recreation on foot. Therefore, there is no stile, gate or similar leading into the pasture from the parking lot.
