Ätradalsleden, Fegen - Falkenberg

Stage 4: Fegen - Falkenberg (56 km)

The fourth stage of the Ätradalsled is 56 km long and runs from Fegen to Falkenberg. The trail offers a varied cycling through deep forests, lake landscapes and open cultural lands, mainly on low-traffic country and gravel roads.

In Fegen you cycle through a scenic area by Fegensjön, known for its rich bird life and good opportunities for canoeing and fishing. In the community there are bicycle and canoe rentals, services, hostels and nice walks along the lake. The journey continues towards Krogsered where you pass Lyngsjön with a swimming area, hiking trails and cultural-historical environments around the church.

Between Gällared and Askome, the trail follows Ätran along the stretch called "Halland's most beautiful road". Here you will encounter magnificent views, rich flora and fauna as well as cultural environments such as Yttra Bergs nature reserve and Yngeredsforsen. The stage continues through more open landscapes towards Vessigebro, where you will find services, attractions and local crafts.

The last part goes through hilly landscape via Ljungby towards Falkenberg. Here the trail ends at the train station, close to the city's range of restaurants, accommodation, events and Halland's long sandy beaches.
