Siljansleden, Mångberg till Siljansfors

The stretch from Mångberg to Siljansfors passes through Borrbergs, Rossbergs and Hållens fäbodar. At Rossbergs fäbodar, the fäbod operation ceased around 1960. Hållens fäbodar was previously an iron production site.

The trail also passes Malin's Malibambo burial site. Malibambo is the name of a large stone that, according to legend, was the place of worship for the hard-hit Sollerö residents who survived the plague in the 14th century. A woman named Malin found a golden cross here when she fled the plague. This sign from God prompted her to turn back and help the plague victims. Malin is buried by the stone. In her memory there is a cross with an altarpiece. An ore bell reinforces the feeling of a church. The church on the old Solleröm target is called bambo.
