Stärnö runt

Peninsula southwest of Karlshamn.

Stärnö is a large peninsula southwest of the center of Karlshamn and a popular hiking area with what many people think is the municipality's best swimming spot. During the summer there is also an outdoor restaurant. On balmy summer evenings, you can barbecue at the prepared barbecue areas on the rocks.

Blekinge's largest burial cairn is on Sternö, southwest of Karlshamn. Högarör is almost five meters high and was built during the Early Bronze Age. It is located with a magnificent view of Hanö Bay, fifty meters above sea level.

The nature reserve has several hiking trails of varying length and terrain. Some of the trails are accessible and stroller-friendly.
