Description

In Scandinavia’s largest safari park, you can experience red deer, fallow deer, Père David’s deer, mouflon sheep, and European bison on a guided tour.

The area features croft ruins from former homesteads in a landscape shaped by grazing, with high ecological value – especially in areas with ancient trees. In 1938, the land was purchased by Bengt Berg, who established a biological research area. Farming ceased, and the old crofts were left to decay.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash. Please note that camping and making fires are not permitted within the nature reserve. There are motorhome pitches at Outdoor Eriksberg, located right at the entrance to the safari park.
