Gliding through the archipelago in a kayak is one of the best ways to experience Blekinge up close. And now it’s easier than ever to get out on the water. Along ARK56, you’ll find several options for kayak rentals – both staffed rental stations and self-service kayak lockers.

You can find all rental locations on the map below or directly in the ARK56 app under the new category kayak rental. Many can be booked digitally, and with automated kayak stations in several places, you can head out whenever it suits you – perhaps a calm evening paddle at sunset?

If you’re new to kayaking, we recommend starting at a staffed rental station. There you’ll get an introduction to safety routines, paddling techniques, and useful tips before heading out.

ARK56’s kayak trails are designed to suit different experience levels and ambitions:

• Short loops are ideal for a half-day or evening paddle.
• Longer sections offer the chance to plan multi-day trips through the archipelago – with overnight stays on islands, in small harbors, or at designated ARK56 hubs along the way.
• New trails have also been added, making it even easier to find a route that suits you.
