Kalvsjön offers fine fishing for zander, pike and perch - in a peaceful nature with a clear wilderness character. There is peace and quiet here, without disturbing roads or communities, which makes the place perfect for both relaxation and nature experiences.

For those who want to stay longer, there are several accommodation options. Kalv's family campsite rents out boats and canoes and offers overnight stays on campsites, in cabins and even in houseboats. The Kalv Schoolhouse hostel has newly renovated rooms, and there is a well-stocked general store in the village. All offer fishing licenses for sale.

There is a boat mooring at the outlet in Kalv, and there are several campsites around the lake. Fires are permitted in designated areas within the Fegen area.

The rich bird life is an important part of the experience. By respecting the bird protection areas around the islands in the middle of the lake and Aspön during the period April 1 to July 15, you help to preserve nature.

The fishing license covers not only Kalvsjön, but also Södra and Norra Svansjöarna which are connected to Fegensjön, as well as the smaller lakes Fursjön and Röasjön.
