Description
The nature reserve consists of the Matkullen hill with wooded slopes. The trail goes through the nature reserve but there are no designated rest areas. Once you have reached the top of the mountain, you are 210 meters above sea level and can enjoy the view of Baggådalen.

Bruksleden går genom naturreservatet.
Matkullen ligger 1 mil nordväst om Skinnskatteberg. Kör från Skinnskatteberg på väg 233 mot Kopparberg. Kör cirka 5 kilometer. Sväng vänster vid skylt "Kopparberg" och "Örebro". Sväng höger nästan direkt vid skylt "Kopparberg". Kör cirka 4 kilometer. När du ser den lilla björkallén på höger sida och Bruksleden på vänster sida om vägen så ska du svänga höger. Grusvägen går upp mot reservatet, men inte ända fram och det finns ingen parkering. Kör cirka 600 meter, tills du ser en informationstavla vid vägen. Därifrån är det lätt att vandra till Matkullen på Bruksledens markerade stigar.

- driving an unleashed dog
- putting up a board, sign, poster or permanently marking out tracks
- making a fire. Exceptions apply to, for example, alcohol stoves, gas stoves or other similar equipment.
