Description

Johannisberg is a bathing and camping area on the shores of Lake Mälaren, on the outskirts of Västerås. There is a shallow sandy beach and the forest slopes are popular hiking areas for both camping guests and local residents.

During the summer, many visitors come here to sunbathe and swim. It is also nice to walk around the forest slopes and experience deciduous forest and birdsong.

In summer, the Elba ferry docks at the pier in Johannisberg. The ferry goes to Västerås and to Elba and Östra holmen, two islands in Västeråsfjärden that are also nature reserves. You can also take the bus or why not take a bike ride here from Västerås?

The City of Västerås is responsible for Johannisberg Nature Reserve, telephone number: 021-39 00 00, e-mail: kontaktcenter@vasteras.se.

Fin beskrivning och många fina bilder. Saknar bara uppgift om stugor på området.

Hej Åke! Campingen ingår inte i naturreservatet så därför har vi ingen information om stugor eller annat som hör till campingen. MVH, Länsstyrelsen
