Description

Björnön Nature Reserve is a very popular and well-visited outdoor area on the outskirts of Västerås. There are nice jogging trails and a hiking trail, a popular sledding hill, swimming areas, viewpoints and much more. Björnön also has beautiful nature, with a mix of dense forests and open areas. Björnön has many mistletoes, Västmanland's landscape flower, and in the spring the ground is covered with white anemones and bluebells.

You can get to Björnön in many ways, by city bus, bicycle, car, boat or take your skates in the winter!
