Björnö Camping — Västerås

Västerås Husvagnsklubb (Västerås Caravan Club) is a small, family-friendly campsite located in the recreational area of Björnö, just outside Västerås on Lake Mälaren (sometimes also called "Lake Malar" in English). About 100 m from the beach is a seasonal restaurant that’s open in the summer. The campsite is about 100 m from the Björnöbadet swimming area, which is known for its long beach and sandy lakebed.

There are exercise and hiking trails around the campsite. A kilometre from the campsite is the Björnögården recreation centre, which has a restaurant open all year round.

The campsite is simple and in natural surroundings, which is ideal for anyone who wants to experience nature while staying close to the big city. The centre of Västerås is less than 8 km from the campsite. It’s a year-round campsite with space for about 80 caravans.

The campsite also has a barbecue area, a clubhouse, a service building, as well as a cottage with four beds.

Björnö Camping has been a motorhome/caravan club campsite since 1979.
