Vinbergen

Here you can wander around the old forest with rough, older pines and spruces. If you listen carefully, you can hear the characteristic rustling of the leaves on all the old aspens that have taken root in the forest.

In autumn, all the aspens glow like torches as their leaves change color to brilliant yellow-red before finally dropping them for the winter. If you look closely at the trunks, you can find the tiny lichen pinnate jelly lichen. The lichen grows mainly on old aspens and willows and is rare in today's managed forests.
