Description
The reserve consists of an old domain reserve and an adjacent area to the west. The forests consist almost exclusively of primeval spruce and coniferous mixed forests that are approx. 200-400 years old. On the northern slope there are elements of tall and coarse aspen.

There is no road bordering the nature reserve. It is located about 6 km north of the village of Tallsjö, between Åsele and Fredrika along road 92, NW of Storberget.
