Description
Stora Kåtaträsket is a completely roadless area with beautiful small
lakes and ponds, old pine forests and large boulder-rich fields, known as
boulder seas. In the eastern parts of the reserve and in the southwest between lakes Stora and
Lilla Kåtatrsäket, it is easy to walk in the open pine forests.

Directions
The reserve is unbroken by roads, but outside the southeastern
part of the reserve there is a forest road from which you reach the reserve after about 100 meters
the reserve. The forest road turns off the road between Sorsele and Jiltjaur about 13
kilometer from Sorsele village.
