Description
The reserve consists of the two prominent mountains Stenberget and Sandsjöberget, which rise several hundred meters above the otherwise flat landscape. The terrain in the reserve area is very steep and dramatic in places, with several blocky precipices and sheer drops on the eastern sides of Sandsjöberget and Stenberget. A fairly deeply cut valley with several ravine-like sections cuts in between the two mountains.

Directions
From Bjurholm drive north towards Mariebäck and Näsland. Turn right towards Otternäs after the latter. After Västansjö turn left and drive towards Storsandsjön. After Stavaren take the first or second right to get to the nature reserve.
