Description
Pite-Rönnskär is the best-known part of Kinnbäcksfjärden Nature Reserve. Here you can walk along forest paths and take part in traces of the island's cultural history. Adjacent to the harbor there is a sauna and barbecue areas that can be used by visitors.
There is a hostel on Pite-Rönnskär that is open in summer. During the summer it is also possible to take a boat taxi out to the island from Kinnbäck harbor.
On the mainland, the spruce forest on Sandviksudden or the large pebble and gravel fields with old pine trees on Orrholmsudden are nice places to visit. In winter, the area is pleasant to visit on skis or ice skates.
You can also enjoy the sea by kayaking, swimming or snorkeling. On the island of Buskön/Kringsön there is a long, fine sandy beach.
