Description

Järnesberget is an almost completely untouched spruce forest. The forest is very old, with many trees older than 250 years. Many species that have difficulty surviving in managed forests thrive here. From the nearest gravel road, it is about 300 meters to walk in unpaved terrain to enter the reserve. There are no prepared paths in the reserve.
