Granbergsmyran

During a visit in early summer, the orchids marsh orchids and meadow orchids bloom together with, among other things, bearberry and grass wool.

The air is full of insects, in addition to lots of mosquitoes and gnats, bumblebees and colorful butterflies also thrive among the marsh flowers. On the bog you will also find the carnivorous plants round willowherb, greater willowherb and sedge.

There is also a small bog in the western part. Bogs are not very common in the county. As bogs mainly receive water from precipitation, the vegetation is not as rich there. The eastern part of the bog has a sparse tree layer of pine.

For a coffee break, there are some small glades on the slope of Granberget with fine views of the well-formed structural patterns on the bog and the rich marshes west of the power line.
