Björnkojan Vindelfjällen

Not far from Kåtaträsket in mountain pine forest is a log cabin. There is a path to Kåtaträsket. From there you follow the southern shore of the lake, cross the bridge at the outlet of the stream and then diagonally through the forest. The hut is beautifully situated by a small pond.

There is room for 6-8 people.

The hut is unlocked and accommodation in the hut is free. It is simple accommodation with beds, stove, table and chairs. Bring all equipment such as sleeping mat and sleeping bag. It is not possible to book the hut or the sleeping places.

Offer a place to sleep to new guests if you have already slept one night. Hikers and skiers have priority for the sleeping places.

You as a visitor clean up after yourself and carry firewood from the wood store to the next guest. Firewood is available as meter wood. Do not forget to splinter sticks that are easy to make a fire with.

Dogs are allowed in the hut.
