“Du kan allting" (You Can Do Anything) by Mikael Richter
The artwork depicts a glowing house. Inside, there are benches with engraved words, and the floor features a painted carpet. The artist and students at Minneberg School collaborated to develop value-based words, colors, patterns, and forms. The value words became engraved prompts, and the students’ chosen colors, patterns, and shapes formed the carpet on the floor. The aim was to create a bright and welcoming meeting place in the schoolyard — a space that serves both as a social gathering point and a place for reflection.

Mikael Richter is educated at, among others, Umeå Academy of Fine Arts and Valand Academy of Fine Arts, and has further studies in art education from the University of Gothenburg and Uppsala. His artistic practice is characterized by playful, conceptual works — often using public signage that conveys simple yet powerful messages.
