Sahlströmsgården combines art and relaxation, fine food and accommodation in a peaceful setting. In the restaurant, you can enjoy meals made from scratch, and at the Sahlströmsgården Museum you’ll discover the artistic lives of Anna, Bror, and Ida Sahlström. Today, guests are once again welcomed to stay overnight at the estate – just as they were in the time of the three siblings, much to the dismay of their father, who saw all three become artists.

About the hotel

The new hotel blends old and new in 30 uniquely decorated double rooms. Each room features wooden floors, tiled bathrooms, TV, Wi-Fi, and a beautiful view over Lake Sirsjön. Come and enjoy a dream right in the middle of reality. Several rooms are accessibility-adapted, and pets are welcome in some of them. Sahlströmsgården offers a variety of accommodation packages including delicious dinners and activities.

Activities in the area

Enjoy the wood-fired sauna with views over Lake Sirsjön – and finish with a refreshing dip in the lake. Two easy hiking trails start from the estate: one 1.6 km long, the other 4 km. The 10 km long Sisistigen trail also begins here and takes you through beautiful nature all the way to Torsby town centre.
