Description
Hiking trail of 6 km (northern stretch) which connects Gruvrundan in Sunne municipality, with Finnvägen in Fredros, Arvika municipality. In both regions the iron and copper mining have had great importance in 17 ͭ ͪ to the 19 ͭ ͪcenturies.
The trail goes along old forest roads, paths and gravel roads. At Övre Bruket there are some 15 remains of ironworks, a mill and housing. A small, shallow bathing cove lies around 200 meters from Övre Bruket at Lake Mången. It is a little off the trail, and has no designated area to sit down, but nice for a quick dip. At Övre Bruket there is a roofed bench table.
The southern stretch between the Sunne border and Fredros gives a circular route when combined with Finnvägen. The circular trail is approximately 8 km. Recommended starting point for this option is Gamla Fotbollsplanen, opposite of Övre Bruket.
Both Bruksleden and Finnvägen are marked with orange on trees or posts. Duck boards were installed in 2023, most with anti-slip net.

Facts
Fredros ligger i Gunnarskog, cirka 38 km norr om Arvika. Nära Bruksleden finns Treens Camping med en välordnad badplats. Flera vandringsleder finns i närområdet, t ex Finnvägen, Norra Gunnarskogsleden (kombinerad vandrings- och cykelled), Kyrkstensleden och Sunnes leder kring Ängen och Gruvrundan.
Från Fredros är det cirka 6 km till Lafallhöjdens finntorp med anrik miljö, ängsmark och rik flora.
