Hammarskog Manor.

On this day, we’ll dive into
the world of mushrooms, where researchers are still making fascinating new discoveries and
finding new species. Mushrooms are everywhere; they’re vital to us—and
sometimes dangerous. And they can look in so many different ways!
Nature educator Johan Lindell from
the Upplandsstiftelsen and mushroom-picking enthusiast Shanti from Naturskolan will lead an
excursion through the mushroom forest, where everyone can take something home—in the form of knowledge about
mushrooms and perhaps even something to put in their mushroom basket. Feel free to bring your own
basket, mushroom knife, and a small brush or paintbrush. Dress for the weather!
Naturskolan will provide picnic blankets and a simple snack for a break in the forest.
