Härjarö is located on a peninsula in Lake Mälaren, southwest of Bålsta, almost as far south as you can get in Uppsala County.
By car: From road 55, turn south towards Härjarö at the roundabout at Litslena. Already here it is signposted. You pass Grillby and continue on small roads for about 20 km. Once on Härjarö, follow the signs for the nature reserve and you will soon reach the parking lot at Blåhäll.
From the E18, take the exit between Enköping and Bålsta where there are signs for Härjarö.
