Description
Laxön is located in Älvkarleby and is a small island in the Dalälven river. The buildings on the island are old military buildings that were built in the late 1800s. In the early 1900s, the area also became known through the construction of one of Sweden's first hydropower plants. Today there is a café, restaurant, craft shop etc.
