Hulta hagar, Naturreservat

As the name suggests, Hulta hagar is mainly grazed pasture land with beautiful and valuable trees. The large and coarse deciduous trees are important for many insects and lichens. There are also impressive hazel groves growing in the pasture.

To the west of the pasture is a tall deciduous forest with the character of a natural forest. There are large aspens and broadleaf trees such as oak, ash and lime. Some of the trees are around 200-250 years old. The rich flora is of grove character with plants such as ferns and witch hazel.
