Are you looking for record-breaking fish? Then Svartån is the place to go. There are not many waters in the country that have produced more entries in Sportfiskarna's big fish register than Svartån. This is especially true of zander, rudd and roach, but there is also rewarding fishing for fine pike and perch.

The stretch of the river between Vågforsen power station and Linkelösa is just under a mile long and is part of the Västerlösa-Älvestad fisheries management area. You can buy fishing licenses on the iFiske website, for example.
