Vaggerydsortens fvof

Vaggerydsortens FVOF, a landowner association,offers fishing in the slightly larger lakes Fängen and Sandsjön located north of Vaggeryd in the upper parts of the riverLagan's main channel system. Anglers are attracted to the area mainly thanks to fishing for fine perch, pike and pikeperch.

In addition to Fängen and Sandsjön, there is also the opportunity to fish in a number of smaller lakes and meres. The lakes are nestled in a wilderness-coniferous forest environment. Loons and ospreys thrive in the area.

Fängen and Sandsjön are deep, clear and nutrient-poor lakes with good water quality. The lakes are interesting for angling for perch and spin fishing for perch, pike and pike-perch.

The shallower Tängsjön is located in the southern part of the fish area and is connetcted with Sandsjön through a narrower strait. The lake is only 5-6 meters deep and the water is much more humus colored, with less good visibility depth.

In addition to the above lakes, Vaggerydsorten's fish area includes the meres and lakes, Prästagölen, Målagölen, Nöthultsgölen and Käringasjön.

The bridge over Lagan at Sonarp's mill forms the upper boundary of the fish area in the north and the hydro power station at Mölna forms the lower boundary of the fishing area in the south.
