Habo Sport Fishing Club

Habo sport fishing club was founded in 1961 and currently has around 250 members. The club organises competitions in jig fishing, angling, boat jig fishing, and perch fishing. The club also has an active fly fishing section.

Our club fishing waters in the Hökenså area include the P&T lakes, Södra Kroksjön, and Surgölen where we release rainbow trout and trout, as well as Norra Kroksjön, which has a natural population of pike and perch.

Over the years, the organisation has grown, with sections for perch fishing/boat jig fishing, angling, and jig fishing (from ice) with series competitions for the club’s members. We also participate in Sportfiskarna’s championship competitions.

There is also a fly-fishing section, but it does not pursue competitive activities and instead focuses its activities on pleasure meetings and joint trips.
