Mölna Gård

Mölna Gård, together with the remains of Mölna mill, mill pond and Mölnaån, is a beautiful cultural environment and old industrial environment with both water and windmills. Mölna Gård is privately owned, but the buildings are clearly visible from the walkway and there is an information sign.

Mölna farm has an interesting history and several culturally interesting remnants of the mill environment, including the mill pond and the stone-lined water gutters. The mills are mentioned as early as the 16th century.

At the end of the 18th century, the large windmill was demolished, but the ground floor was converted into the Mölna pavilion, which has been preserved. In the early 19th century, there was extensive industrial activity on the site when dyes were made from wood raw material from South America. At the end of the 19th century, the industrial premises were converted into rental accommodation for summer guests from Stockholm.
