Here we find coniferous forest with tall, thick-growth trees, many deciduous trees and lots of old draped in hanging lichen. On fallen, dead aspen you can catch a glimpse of the impressive coral tooth fungus hericium coralloide. In the southwestern corner there is a waterlogged spruce forest. The area is 2 square kilometres in size.
