Description

Fräkentjärnarna is located in the northernmost corner of Rättvik, right next to the border with Gävleborg County. The forest is old and heavily affected by fire.

In the Fräkentjärnarna nature reserve, you can get acquainted with something that is becoming increasingly rare in Swedish nature, namely really old trees.
