Brunnsparken i Söderköping

Brunnsparken is characterized by a classic park environment with sparse deciduous trees, large grass areas and graveled walkways. In addition, the park is crossed by Storån. Brunnsparken has a centuries-old history, which began in 1719 with the construction of the well around St. Ragnhild's spring. During the 19th century, the area was developed when the main building "The Castle" was built over the spring. In addition, the Brunnssalongen, Brunnslasarettet, Brunnskyrkan and Villa Lagerberg were added in the 19th century. These buildings still exist today and are an important part of the cultural environment. The park is today very popular for recreation.
