Description

About 150 meters out in Lake Yasjön there is an island and out to it it is possible to go by cable car raft. The raft has room for 9-12 people and you pull yourself out to the island via a rope. There is a campsite with a shelter on the island. Remember to buy firewood from Åkulla Friluftsgård as this is not available on the island.

During the birds' nesting period, which is March 1 - June 30, it is forbidden to enter the island. The cable car is in operation from July 1 to mid-October, the rest of the time you are referred to the windbreak in Åkulla.

**Important to keep in mind!

Outdoor fires are always associated with the risk of spreading the fire. Fires are ALWAYS at your own risk and under your own responsibility!

Always find out the current fire risk before starting a fire. Visit Räddningstjänsten Väst for the current fire risk forecast.
