Siljansleden, Björka till Nybron

The route from Björka fäbodar to Nybron goes over the relatively steep Grönsberg to then pass the Kansbol fäbod, then on towards Indsjön and Indnäs fäbodar. At Nybron there is a resting cabin next to Våmån.

Indnäs:

Indnäs is a beautiful pasture with an old-fashioned character. From the highest point you have a lovely view of the mountains and valley, and there is a nicely situated hut with a fireplace and table.

Indnäs was the home farm for the people of Indor and was the largest and most important of Indor's farms, during the early summer the villagers spent a month here, until midsummer. Then they went to Trullgrav's long pastures. After seven weeks they were back at Indnäs again, where they stayed until Mora market in October.

The pasture was named in 1634 as Hindernääs, and in the inventory of pastures in 1663 as Indernäse. The name refers to the tributary of Lake Indsjön, Indan or Indån. South of today's settlement is the old part of the fäbod rampart. Here you can still see the foundations of houses and old paths.
