Trollhättan - Vänersborg, Pilgrimsleden Göta Älv, etapp 10

This is the last stage of the Göta River Pilgrimage Trail (or the first if you go south), with a stretch from Trollhättan church to Dalbo Bridge in Vänersborg. A nice stretch close to water, via urban areas (close to good accommodation, good food and things to do) and with a touch of forest groves and exciting history - often illustrated with QR codes. Between Trollhättan and Vänersborg there is also a long and straight cycle path that seems long and straight enough to be suitable for contemplation and your inner pilgrimage before you touch shopping centers and all the possibilities of modern times.
